DMCA POLICY

DMCA POLICY FOR AFRICAN XSTARS

African Xstars (“we,” “our,” or “the SITE”) is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we have adopted the following policy regarding claims of copyright infringement.

1. DMCA NOTICE OF ALLEGED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

If you believe that content available on or through African Xstars infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice to our Designated Copyright Agent with the following required information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • A detailed description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • The exact location (URL) of the allegedly infringing content on AfricanXstars.com;
  • Your contact details, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. PROCEDURE UPON RECEIPT OF A DMCA NOTICE

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, African Xstars will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed or disabled;
  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate.

3. DMCA COUNTER-NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE

If you believe that your material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • A description of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled (please include specific URLs);
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your judicial district (or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which African Xstars may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same address as listed above.

4. REPEAT INFRINGER POLICY

African Xstars maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyrights.

5. POLICY CHANGES

African Xstars reserves the right to modify or update this DMCA Policy at any time. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
